Learn to Quilt: Starts, Wed. Sept. 10, 5:30 P.M. Learn how to properly use a rotary cutter, 1/4" seam allowance, matching seams and intersections, and much more. This is a start to finish class where you will also learn to construct 3 different types of blocks that include half square triangles and flying geese. Shoo Fly Janiacs meet the 3rd Wednesday morning of every month at 10:15 a.m. Club based on the Dear Jane quilt book by Brenda Papadakis. Come for helpful hints and good company with fellow quilters. My Wacky Stacky Stash Quilt Class. Have fun, think  outside the box and create a quilt that is unique and creative from your stash of fat quarters. Kits available. FREE PATTERN! Class Cost:$15 (See pix below.)

Special Classes: If you have an idea for a class and at least 3 people interested, we will make special arrangements just for your group! We also teach to Girl Scout and Boy Scout groups.

Classes need to be paid for up to 2 weeks BEFORE the class takes place. Some classes fill up very quickly. Nothing ruins a good program more than people not signing up before hand and the class then gets canceled. NO credits will be given without at least 48 hour notice.

We hope that you purchase your fabric from us, since that does help keep most of our class fees lower. A 10% discount is given for top of quilt/project fabric purchased for class. With the purchase of fabric from Shoo Fly Quilts, you are assured of high quality fabric giving you the results you desire.

Most classes listed are based on a 3 person minimum. If 3 people are NOT signed up it is then up to the discretion of the instructor as to whether or not the class will take place. If a teacher cancels the class a credit will be issued to be used towards another class. If a student misses a class without 1week notice, the class fee is forfeited. Our teachers strive to make this an enjoyable experience for quilters and take time out of their busy schedules to share their love and knowledge of particular topics. Please be respectful and show up! And show up on time!
